Egglestonesque?

Egglestonesque?
A while back, Greg, the old sock, posted a photo with what I found to be a weird hashtag. Democratic photography. I had no idea what that meant, so he had to explain it. It had everything to do with the American photographer William Eggleston, and it was not anything political, which was my first thought. Anywho, out walking in the rain at Skeppsbrokajen, in the old town yesterday, I thought this looked a little Egglestonesque.

Well, it does. The content - the tourist worthy photo with the real trash bin set down, realism. I actually was alive and walking around when Eggleston was photographing (though not where, just when), being 10 in 1950. And always living in the same small town, except for 12 years or so, I know what things looked like then and the creeping changes since. As you see many changes in where you have lived lo these many years as well....

You know what, this definitely looks like an Eggleston! I'm a big fan so this is high praise. Looks cold over there, Stefan. Cold here too. Cheers!
