Swedish word of the day. Lekplats. New playground under construction at the park in Tungelsta. Looks like an old Volvo "rundnos" truck from the 1930s in there! A century ago, (give or take a few years), a man known locally as Cykel-Pelle lived in a house here. The old truck represents his business. You can also see a "torklada", representing the many laundry firms that operated here a century ago. And when it is all ready for the kids there will also be a building representing all the greenhouse nurseries from way back when.

When my family took holiday in Sweden, they were really excited by the imaginative playgrounds you have. Much better than ours.
This looks like a much more imaginative playground than we have around here.
