22-Pistepirkko

22-Pistepirkko
Out chasing that Finnish rock band in the wet grass. Try saying Psyllobora vigintiduopunctata a few times. We call this tiny (3 to 5mm long), ladybug Tjugotvåprickig nyckelpiga.

I'm not even going to try saying it once Steffe :) I have to confess I've not seen a yellow ladybug, only the common old red :)

Love ladybugs. I don't care what color. Love it when they flutter away. Yellow on green. Pretty cool.

We do not see many of the yellow ones...

A perfect macro.

I've only seen the red ones, never ones like this.

I will leave the pronunciation to native speakers of Swedish.

Brilliant photograph. Just using extension tubes?

Three extension tubes and the nifty fifty in this case. I usually shoot a couple of photos with manual focus, and if I'm lucky I can then use the script function in PS and combine a few photos for better depth of field.
