That Old Tree

That Old Tree
A black and white photo of the old tree, although a color photo would have looked very similar. We have had a few cold days now, and it's been snowing, but not as much as the evening papers try to scare us with. I'm kinda fed up with the Winter at the moment. Whenever I lift the camera I feel that I already have taken that photo and that works here as well as I now have 411 photos of the Swedish Whitebeam.

I think it is wonderful, though I prefer to see it on my laptop instead of in person.

It looks like something out of the mists of time like this!

Wonderful. Caught mid-snowflake. I'm with you on wanting winter to pass away quickly now. Enough already.

The media here seems to go overboard at any mention of a bit of snow. The tree is still looking lovely!

This has a high contrast to it which is very nice.

I understand your point. The sky is the same, the ground is the same. Perhaps time for a winter break someplace warm?

I think I prefer the color .. especially when the sky is a deep blue.

I thought the foggy would have to be my favorite of them all, but I sure like this one with the snow and kind of misty in the distance! And the one below is to die for, too!
