Bird Feeder

Bird Feeder
Bird feeder at the Rudan nature reserve. The feeder is new. Looks a bit like some of the old farm buildings here so it fits right in. Come the Winter the birds will need all the help they can get when it comes to food. The ugly green thing in the background is a spiral stair case that I have showed you before.

The birds must have a hard time in winter, those that don't fly south. Here of course we have visitors from the north, the dreaded Koel who keeps me awake at night.

What a lovely feeder! Bird feeder are rare here: maybe it is because practically our only birds are gulls, and they tend to feed everywhere...

What a great bird feeder! I particularly like the colour - RED! Now I've learned from you how to do a short post!! Hope you are having a great weekend!

This is a 'no squirrel zone', I bet. There should be a sign to announce this. Bet it gets woodpeckers.

There is no question this is a Swedish bird feeder...or a bird feeder made by Swedes for birds. Or something like that. It reminds me that I've got a current project waiting in the garage - a small bird house.

I love it especially with its Swedish red paint!

Seeds and suet balls, I assume. It's hard to get a sense of scale of how big it is but the birds will take whatever they can get.
