Nice Day For It

Nice Day For It
I noticed many cyclists out on the roads on Sunday. Perfectly understandable as the weather was good for cycling. Around 10C and a blue sky, at least for a few hours. This is Martina, from Haninge and her bicycle buddy Thomas, from Huddinge. I met them at Lake Rudan where there's still some snow left on the paths. Looks like Thomas managed to follow Martina's advice to draw in' the stomach here! A few people decided to walk past them as I took the photos so I had them standing like this for nearly a minute.

Nice dual portrait - it looks like Spring has actually arrived (even at 10C)!

Those of us who live in warm climates would not consider any day when there is snow around and in which the riders have to cover up like these two as a good day for riding, but I guess after your winter, it is indeed.

We have lots of MAMILs here too. (Middle aged men in lycra). Like the photo and the story.

What? Are you crazy? That weather suggest snuggling together inside by the fireplace. I was out today but it's 84 degrees and rising. All of our snow has melted.

Bicyclists here have given up waiting for perfect weather. I often see them out despite pouring rain. We had a race last month with dozens of them riding in terrible wind, periodic rain, and plenty of blistering cold. But no snow, at least.

Not crazy Lowell, just tough Vikings. I don't mind biking in the rain during the warm summer months but at these temperatures it isn't all that nice. It rained and rained on Monday...
