A Relaxing View

The Birch Alley Walking in a birch forest is always relaxing I think. And sometimes just looking at a photo of birches can have that same effect. I just read about that in my morning paper today. They have a room called The Calming Room at a hospital in Stockholm. You can sit there for a while, listening to sounds of the forest or the summer while looking at the wallpaper that shows a birch forest in summer. This is probably the worlds most narrow birch alley at the Söderby Estate in Handen.

I have always wanted to find a scene with birch trees like this and photography it. You did a good job with this one.

Lovely trees, so graceful with their tiny leaves. I would certainly find a room like the one you mention calming (if I couldn't go to the forest).
