Back in the mid 1980s Sweden had something like twenty top 100 players. Two of them, Stefan Edberg and Mats Wilander were both ranked number one in the world, and they won many Grand Slam tournaments. Nicklas Kroon another Swedish player came it with a gesture called the Vicht. He did it when he won important points. Mats Wilander started using it as well. Many years later Lleyton Hewitt from Australia used it.

Not a big tennis guy... a salute? To whom? Why? I'm confused. I know LOVE that's about it. hahahaha

I am sure that this gesture is what put Edberg and Wilander at the top of the tennis rankings.
I remember quite well Mats Wilander, but didn't know the name of the gesture...
