This was a chance encounter. I noticed the 1962 Chrysler New Yorker in Handen yesterday and figured I would take a few photos of it. Arriving to where it had just parked I met Ann-Sofie, the car owners daughter. So I asked her for portrait. And got a pretty good story with the photo. Ann-Sofie is a future truck driver and mechanic, because that is what she is studying to become at the moment. Her hobbies includes cars and sports bikes, and when she is old enough to drive a car, she would like a Hot Rod. She could also be a future fashion stylist, working out of New York, because fashion is another big interest, and she is heading for The Big Apple later this year to attend an English language school, it is only for one month, but she figured it would look good on her CV. I could suggest a third career, Supermodel, because she has the face and the legs for it.

At first I was going to say "What car?" But then I realized that it is an old beauty! I would have killed for one of these back in 1962! At that time I drove a 1960 Volvo...I lived in Phoenix and it overheated all the time. Finally got rid of it and bought a 1957 Olds 4-door hardtop, green with white top, an all chrome beauty! With air-conditioning!
Good luck to the young lady. I think she'll will go far in whatever field she chooses.
I remember te Fords and Chevies from that era, but not this car. Interesting to find a young girl who wants to be a truck driver.

A month in New York should give her plenty of experience. New Yorkers don't speak other languages besides Spanish, unless you go to the ethnic enclaves in Queens and Brooklyn. There you can find every tongue spoken in Africa and Asia.
She seems a bit confused about her future, but who wasn't her age? I agree with you about the third career...
