Summer treats
It looked like a thunderstorm was quickly approaching Tungelsta so I walked up the hill at home to see from which direction it came. And while walking through the little forest I stumbled upon the first blueberries of the season. I had a quick look around and it looks like I will be serving a blueberry pie tonight. Possibly topped with smultron, or wild strawberries if you like. Just to make you a little hungry I have added what the pie will probably look like.

now you remind me i must go out and pick some wild blueberries. hope you enjoy your pie.
Oh, yum! Looks delicious.
In my book, blueberries are unBEATable in any dish. I'm eating a blueberry scone right now.
This reminds me of our honeymoon in northern Minnesota...one of the things we did was pick wild blueberries and they were big and luscious! So, did you make the pie?
Blueberries are my favorite. I am about to put them on my cereal for breakfast. There are no wild blueberries where I reside in Arizona or Costa Rica.
The pie dough is in the oven as I'm typing this. I will upload a photo of the finished pie to flickr a little later. Here is a photo of all the berries I picked.
We used to pick up these and others when we were kids and we spent the summer in the countryside...
Now that's what I call yummy!
