Mosquito Forest
It is Monochrome Monday here at the Haninge blog. This is a forest at the Rudan nature reserve. I was out shooting with a friend recently, and the plan was to walk further into the forest here near the upper lake, but as I was attacked by a number of Kamikaze mosquito's that excursion was put on hold.

Wow, quite intense, I love it.

my sympathy. looks like a great walk spoiled by those greedy little bloodsuckers.
Maybe that's why so many Swedes settled in Minnesota. They missed the mosquitos. As you may know, the Mosquito is the Minnesota State Bird! :-)
Too bad about all those mosquitoes. At least you got a good monochrome picture to post for your troubles. :)
The monochrome makes this look very dramatic. The vampires were out in the forest.
Beautiful moody, monochrome capture - summer mosquitoes have a knack for putting a damper on things!
I've had similar experiences here when trying to enjoy a nice walk...and to take pictures. Mozzie attack at it's worse. At least you managed a nice pic for us Steffe.
Oh what a shame Steffe, never go into the woods without preventative measures! You still managed to get a great image though!!
mosquitos like me too. i dont like them. beehh
Ha, good one Lowell. Weird. When I was a kid the mosquito's never bothered me. I will check for vampires next time!
Wonderful in b&w! Great shot.
