Two photos of a Mercury Monarch from 1949. Shot the hood ornament photo using my Yongnuo 50mm f/1.4 lens. Haven't used the lens much this Summer but decided to give it a try at the car event.

Quite a car- though I hope that plate extra is an ironic one.
This is the vintage car I would buy if I had the money and the storage area. The Monarchs were made in Canada for our domestic market. I remember my uncle had a dark green one when I was a kid! Super pic!
