Karmann Ghia

Karmann Ghia If you arrived to the vintage market at Årsta castle in a classic car and parked it in front of the castle you didn't have to pay the entry fee. This is a 1969 Karmann Ghia. Shot using the Brenizer method. It took nearly 40 photos, but I'm happy with the result.

Beautiful car. I don't think I've seen one like that here.

Well, it was worth all the work ! It's a fantastic image. I used to lust after these cars in my youth (when they were new!).

Oh, that is nice! In the early 60s, I lived in Arizona and one of my co-workers had a one of these beauties. He was very proud of it, too! I always thought of it as a dressed up VW. :)

I think you should get into anywhere free if you arrive in this vintage beauty Steffe.

I was just at an "old timer" show this past weekend. Didn't see any Karmann Ghias though, this one is really well taken care of.

I have a pearl white VW, but I would not mind having a Karmann Ghia such as this one.

I remember one time that a friend of mine had just bought such a car and we would make a trip. But what he did , no sound from the motor. It appeared that there is a gas crane between the tank and the carburator that you have to open by hand under the hood in front. They had showed him in the garage and had it shut but he forgot it and had just made it home on the fumes in the fuel lines inside.

Another gorgeous car!

I have no idea what that method is, but it sounds difficult. And worth it, it seems. It's a beautiful image!
