It has been a very tough Winter for the non-migrating birds in Sweden. I read a report this morning where they listed a 90% loss of some species because of the cold weather. Here at Norrström in Stockholm the city have fed the birds all Winter.

I love feeding the birds and they reward me with a good photo!! This is great I love geese. Big fan of waterfowl in general. And loving the Coots, big fan of them too and their crazy feet! :-D
You can have some of our Canada Geese! :D We have far too many.
They are on their own here. I imagine this winter has been hard on them here too.
It’s wonderful to hear the city has been helping the birds through such a harsh winter. Feeding them must make a big difference, and it’s heartening to know people are looking out for nature even in tough conditions. www.melodyjacob.com
