The Autumn rule is to photograph at least one mushroom. Found this one while walking through the birch forest at Skogskyrkogården.

That time of the year again when the photogenic mushrooms can be seen. This is a "Röd Flugsvamp". Or fly agaric.

Is Summer over now?

Summer ended last Saturday. Just like that. The temperature dropped significantly and on Sunday Autumn arrived. I still have a few Summer portraits to show you but figured I need to start with the Autumn photos. So here's a mushroom I found on a green lawn next to a pedestrian bridge in Västerhaninge yesterday.

This is a no-brainer

Eat one of these (raw), and you are dead. It's brain-shaped, hence the title. Shot this using the macro feature on my new Tamron zoom lens.
