Sweet, Smooth and Sassy!
I noticed a 1957 Chevy Bel Air parked at the mall in Handen a few days ago and decided to stop and take some photos. The owner came out as I was shooting and he told me that he had won quite a few awards for his classic car. He has owned it for 11 years and didn't want to tell me how much money he had spent on it.That's not important he said with a smile.
How nice to be able to classify your spend on a labour of love as "not important".. and with a smile, to boot. I love this photo. Your take on his work of art is art in itslef.
I thought that was a '57. Our third car was a 1955 Chevy BelAir...four door, blue with white top. We drove it back and forth 1800 miles from Minneapolis to Phoenix twice! It was very nice. The only trouble we had as I recall was on Route 66 in Oklahoma or Kansas - we blew out the muffler.
i dont care for cars. but that pic you put up there is beautiful! and i like all the others as well....

ReplyDeleteI like old cars and unusual ones. Like the worlds only Volvo Vera and the KJB. Not forgetting the Batmobile of course.

ReplyDeleteALLE bilene ser ut som de tilhører eiere som elsker amerikanske biler, for her ligger det mye arbeid og mye kjærlighet!:)
