Ta-da!

Ta-da!

My redhead radar detector system kicked into gear in Västerhaninge yesterday, and when I looked around I saw this woman walking towards me. So I stopped her for a chat and a portrait. This is Emelie. She lives in Västerhaninge and is studying to become a nursing assistant. As we started talking I realised that I had met her before, although very briefly, last summer at a rock festival. That time I had first asked her friend for a portrait, but had been turned down. A few hours later I saw them together and when I asked again they agreed to have their photo taken. Today Emelie told me that they were at that festival to watch the band Kill The Parish as Emilie's boyfriend Björn plays the guitar in that band. Despite her looks Emelie prefers to be behind the camera, but as you can see I managed to persuade her to strike a whimsical pose.

  1. A very beautiful, spirited young lady! (Ditch that lip thingy, though!)

Re your comment on the Palmer Legends...all of the Golf Courses in The Villages are very busy -- this one is also very expensive! I think there are 15-20 major golf courses in The Villages and about 25-30 smaller courses. They are all booked all of the time! People from The Villages drive up to Ocala so they can play golf! Which is pretty funny 'cause The Villages sells their houses with the promise of free golf the rest of your life...not quite true!

As to Amelia...I don't have a clue...it's a very popular Southern name, though.

  7. Steffe, your redhead radar doesn't have to be all that sensitive to catch this young lady. I am so glad to see you outside and doing photo interviews again.

  20. Thanks all.

Each to his (or her), own Jacob.

It is a good Joie de vivre, I agree.

They are everywhere Peter! I have a photo of the band playing in my flickr stream.

It would have been great with an all white background Irina, unfortunately Emilie was in a hurry so I only had time for a few quick shots.

    That's my plan Kitty!

Där ser man Tove, en av mina systrar bodde i den här kåken för många år sedan.
