Spotted the worlds only Volvo Vera earlier in the week. The guy behind the wheel is Björn Virving. He built the car himself. I met him at a car meet five years ago. Since then he has moved to Haninge and I have met him a few times. Last time he was on a cool motorcycle. The car is named after his wife, Björn told me that he will take both Vera's with him this summer on a visit to England.
He'll have fun tooling around the UK in that beautiful rig!
ReplyDeleteI read the other day that it appears Volvo will quit the U.S. market due to such a low share of it. That's too bad. I've owned two Volvos (the old ones that looked like 1946 Fords!)...

ReplyDeleteI did not know that Volvo is pulling out of the US until seeing Lowell's comment above. My father walked away from an accident that left his Volvo a total wreck on the day he was diagnosed with dimentia.
