Snow-covered roof
A building at a horse farm in Lillgården. I will try to remember to go back for a summer version. The reason for that is that the roof will look very different in a few months time as it is a grass roof!
I have just finnished a phone call with my cousin in Upsala. She told me that you have too much snow and very cold!A very different image,we have sunshine and cold about 8-10C. Have a nice weekend. Kostas
When I was in Japan, almost all of the roofs were made from straw-like material. Sections of it could be removed and replaced quickly.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see how you do grass roofs there.
ReplyDeleteI like that ladder and the idea of grass roofs...
ReplyDeleteVery pretty scene - are the grass roofs similar to the thatched roofs in England I wonder? Amazing.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am curious to see what the roof looks like. Plenty of snow there - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYes do. What we love most about your posts are the season comparisons. They are so very different to anywhere else we see.
ReplyDeleteI might have a photo of the grass roof at flickr, but I will try to get new one soon. I hope.
ReplyDeleteDo you mean to say there is a layer of grass growing under all that snow Steffe, imagine!
