One week later

One week later

What a difference a week can do. It was only last week that I showed you a photo of the old tree with two cross-country skiers on the path, and it is in fact them you can see on the left side of this diptych. Now most of the snow is gone as you can see on the right hand side. I shot these two photos from a slightly different angle than I would normally do, but still standing on the path, that does a full circle around the Swedish Whitebeam. If you want to, you can see the two original photos in a new album that I have created at my Google plus site.

  3. Only a week! Very, very cool comparison. Even though I grew up in snow, nowadays I am so surprised to see the brown grass under the snow cover.

  4. Our favourite tree. That is an incredible difference in just one week. I am off to Norway next week should I reconsider all those warm clothes?

  5. You are really a mester at this kind of shots! In little more than two weeks we went from an unusual high of 0°C to 18°C, which is quite normal for us.

  6. I think you should Mo. Bring a bikini!

18C sound good enough for me. We have had a few day with just 0C.

  10. I'm sure that you are more than pleased to see an end to winter, but it seems so sad to see the snow leave! (Don't forget, we never have snow here in Brisbane...not even frost)!

  13. Big difference for only seven days. I've been away from winter weather for so long, I forget that this is possible. Thank you for reminding me.

I also have to say I do not miss that kind of snowfall.
