The Joy of Winter
If you don't have a garage, or a block heater, this is what you will have to do on a cold winter morning before driving to the mall/work place/anywhere really. It's the joy of winter!
:) never seen snow in my life, I live in the tropics, India. This looks beautiful to me, of course the people who actually put up with all the snow wish they had more sunshine... joys of the season to you.
i'd almost be grateful to have to scrape if we could just have a little snow for the holiday.
ReplyDeleteThe day might feel even colder for people whose car to scrape is a Saab. Sad news for that brand and the people associated with it.
ReplyDeletecomme cadeau de noel, il faut commander un grattoir electrique ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for diverting the snow away from Canada(:-0)
ReplyDeleteSad indeed Dave.
ReplyDeleteA fun phoro Steffe- we are only wiping rain off the cars in north west England, no snow...
ReplyDeleteChrissy at Manchester: a photo a day at Mancunian Wave
It's been many, many years but, I still remember doing this every morning.

ReplyDeleteAh yes, so joyous, indeed. NOT!
ReplyDeleteI remember those days from my youth in Minnesota - that's the place my dumb ancestors from Sweden settled! Sheesh! They could have gone to Florida!
ReplyDeleteSteffe, what is a 'block heater'? I simply hope it is not a massive power-point on a corner that warms up a city block!!
ReplyDeleteSome facts here Julie.
ReplyDeleteThe sound of everyone on the block out scraping their windshields - one of winter's sound effects!
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty familiar sight, Steffe. Today in Connecticut, though, it is warm, but there are possibilities for snow on Friday.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr! I was complaining about the cold in Sydney today. I will stop.
