I was enjoying coffee in the sunshine on the veranda yesterday when this yellowjacket flew in and landed on the railing. They sure are photogenic when you zoom in a bit. We call them Getingar.

It's quite fascinating to see a close-up of an annoying creature you would otherwise swat away from you.
