These two girls are cousins. Sara, on the left is an eight grade student. She lives in Jordbro. Her cousin Sihint lives in Farsta. She is a secondary school student. The dress is called
Shalwar kameez something I didn't know. I noticed the girls in Jordbro the other day. They were taking photos of each other so I stopped and asked if I could take a few portraits. I asked them if they had any fun hobbies. The answer was the very typical teenage response "hanging out with friends and listening to music".
Are they on a special occasion dressing up with traditional costume?
ReplyDeleteI beautiful portrait of them, Steffe! Fun to see their lovely, matching, Indian outfits!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful clothing! Eight grade - how old would you be to be in eight grade? She looks all grown up.
ReplyDeleteYou would be 14 years old.
ReplyDeleteIt's the most common outfit in India, anywhere you go, you'll see girls wearing them. Salwar kameeze's are very comfortable and pretty, and these girls look elegant in them.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful ladies.
