Walking through the busiest alley in the old town, Västerlånggatan I came upon this guy, busking. Swedish, because he uses Swish for anyone that wants to give him some money. I like how he was sitting. But there were so many people walking past him all the time that it was tricky to get a clean photo, had to wait them all out. The guitarist was just finishing a song as I spotted him. You can't really stop and listen here for very long because of the narrow alley and huge crowds.
I feel bad for busker like him. There are no other channels to showcase his skill but street with loud noise
ReplyDeleteWell, this is Stockholm and there are more than 20 Summer streets with no traffic at all. Hopefully he figured out that there are many much better places.

ReplyDeleteToo bad that people can't stop and listen because of the crowds. Hopefully he'll find a much better place to play.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see street musicians I like the ritual of searching cash - donating by QR code seems raising a barrier - to me
ReplyDeleteWe don't use cash anymore, but tourists do, most likely the reason he decided to busk where he did.
