Astrid Lindgren. The Storyteller. I grew up with her voice. Listened to her reading all the stories about Pippi and Emil. Fifty years later, I can still hear that voice by just looking at this sculpture outside the children's library at Nya Karolinska. There is a similar sculpture, made by the same artist, Hilda Hillfon at Junibacken on Royal Djurgården

DeleteA fine statue that honors this woman. My wife, when she was young, said she remembers the Pippi Longstocking stories.
