Nine street scenes
Nine street photos from a recent walk in central Stockholm. Barrels is a burger place at Smålandsgatan. I noticed the bicycle messenger as he came out from an office at Hamngatan. The Café Cruiser was parked at the ice rink at Kungsträdgården. I spotted the happy dad carrying all the shopping bags at Biblioteksgatan, the most expensive street in the city, and that's where I also took the photo of the pop-up store that will sell Patek Philippe watches. Next, Brasserie vau de ville at Norrmalmstorg. The woman on the phone is walking down Drottninggatan, the busiest pedestrian street in the country. We continue to Kungsträdgårdsgatan where people were enjoying their lunch at Restaurant Ricordi. And then one last photo to prove that not everyone had the day off.
Money must roll but great shots again Stefan. Good start of the new year.
ReplyDeleteGreat set of images. Some holiday shopping was going on and I was struck by the young man with no jacket on in the last photo. His work must be keeping him warm.
ReplyDeleteThey had parked their truck just around the corner.
DeleteGreat shots showing the flavour of the town.
