Christmas display
It is Christmas. The year is 1915. The department store NK, Nordiska Kompaniet at Hamngatan in Stockholm starts the tradition with Christmas displays in their big windows. A Century later the tradition is extremly popular. It is always people here looking. And not just kids.
A wonderful tradition and lovely displays. Growing up outside of Boston, my grandmother used to take us to Jordon Marsh department store to see their yearly Christmas displays. It was always crowded and of course Santa was there so you could have your photo taken which my grandmother always did.
Must be a nice view indeed.
ReplyDeleteThere are some very creative displays here.
