Ten scenes from Skeppsbrokajen
Often when I am out shooting in Stockholm, I stop at Skeppsbrokajen in the old town. A very good place for people photography, and more. It is across the street from the Royal palace, and there are a few good places to eat and drink down by the water. And if you cross the street, the old town alleyways are everywhere. So we have tourists posing. Puddle shooter. Boating with the dog and the girlfriend. The Sutthoffska Palace. A boat captain. Four mounted police officers at Slottsbacken. Old church turned into a concert hall at Skeppsholmen. Known as Eric Ericsson-hallen. Originally built in 1824. One of many super yachts visiting, this one is called Cinderella Noel I. Three photographers on a ferry close to the port snapping away towards The Royal Palace. And lastly, a rigid inflatable boat filled with people on their way out to the archipelago.
I wonder how much the speed boat tour would cost in total? Nice street candid shots again
ReplyDeleteI looked it up. Way too expencive.
DeleteNice pictures!
ReplyDeleteRegarding the uniform:
Two flat stripes plus one circle on the shoulder is usually worn by the Chief Officer, the Master (Captain) usually wear three flat plus one circle.
Aha, thanks.
DeleteThe puddle shooters shoe soles are in sync with his camera. I've never taken it that far.
ReplyDeleteA rich variety of action photos all taken on a beautiful day.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the new router is working and we get to see these tours. ;-)
ReplyDeleteExcellent variety of photos. Well done!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteEach of these is fascinating. Even looked closely at the guy on the top floor of Suttoffska. Wondering what he was doing besides looking out the window on a lovely sunny day. Such resolution in your photos!
