Haymarket in Late February
A late February visit to the weekly flea market at Hötorget in Stockholm. Great to be back there again. A bit colder this time of the year, and not as many tourists, but quite a few locals to photograph as you can see.
Is that a real fur coat? They're getting so good at making fake, I can't tell. Did you buy anything? Nice to see you were out an about without it being awfully cold. The presence of quite a few human beings is an indicator.
Not sure about the fur coat. I never buy anything here, although I have a secret wish to start a collection of paintings bought from this flea market. A day after this I biked home 35 km in what felt like a full storm. Took me two days ro recover!
I love these street shots!
ReplyDeleteNice snippets of life again. The flea market is then an excellent hunting ground.
ReplyDeleteYou do these candids so well.
ReplyDeleteOur markets that stay open for winter move inside although this year they could have been out. A lot of buyers out at yours so good shots for you.
ReplyDeleteThis one is open every Sunday year round as a flea market. Any other day you can buy flowers, mushrooms, clothes, suitcases, and other items.
DeleteIt really shows the people in your town. The expressions are fun to read
