Nedre Välsta. An old farm in Tungelsta. Photograph taken from the path I use when I walk over to the old tree. Looks like the owner is out walking a dog here. I must have walked past this place a thousand times by now. A few Summers ago they opened a café at the farm, and I was a frequent guest together with a few friends. I remember one visit when it was so hot that it was tricky just to sit at the table without breaking a sweat. No such problems during this promenade, a few days ago now.
Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! That is what I call a winter wonderland.
ReplyDeleteThat is winter at its most beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am saddened to hear the news about Borje Salming passing away. He was a real hero here and well loved. He was here 2 weeks ago for a hockey ceremony and looked so weak. So sad.
Yes, very sad news. I grew up watching him play in Brynäs, before he joined Toronto. I will always remember the standing location he got before the game against Canada back in 1976.
DeleteStefan - They have replayed that ovation he got a few times this morning on radio & TV and then an interview with him afterwards and he was so pleased with the reception he got since he didn't know what to expect playing against Canada.
ReplyDeleteI really love the snow scene
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sight.
