To disembark, or not to disembark, that is the question. I climbed up another hill. This time at Fåfängan, on Södermalm. For a couple of reasons. The view. The autumn colors, and also the big construction site at kvarteret Persikan. So where are all those views I hear you ask? They will come. But sometimes you also get a chance to photograph the big cruise ships from up here, so this is one such photo, of MV Britannia.
Yes there really is an entire city district floating by.
ReplyDeleteAn excellent shot.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have guessed that was a cruise ship. It looks so huge!
ReplyDeleteAn unique view of a cruise ship. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThat ship must be enormous. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was an apartment building at first.
ReplyDeleteSuch a true urban abstract done perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to say. I think some things, but I'm not sure what. It's an interesting photo, I know that. Having context of it being a cruise ship kind of flummoxes me. What's Swedish for flummox?
ReplyDeleteFlummig.
DeleteAn amazing and wonderful image, Steffe.
ReplyDeleteFlummig. That I am, and fairly often actually. Thank you for your willingness to tell me Swedish words. Don't know why I like learning words in another language when I am not likely to use them. But flummig is good to my ear. And I think it might come in handy if I ever manage to get to Sweden. In some situations, I can point to myself and say Flummig!!
