Båtliv
I always enjoy photographing boats, big or small. Båtliv means boat life, and this time of the year everyone seems to be out in a boat. Here are six such photos taken on that day when the bike broke down. So these snaps are all from Kungsholmen. All privately owned boats except for the second one which shows M/S Stegeholm from Strömma Kanalbolaget.
The first one looks like a Pettersson. The dreamboat for a collague of mine. At last he got one but the restoration took several years and is stil going on.
The rule here, roentare, is that as soon as it is warm enough to go out without a Winter outfit, we take off as much as we legally can! It can be quite fun to see Vikings like myself who is wearing short pants and a t-shirt, next to someone from a warmer country who is dressed for winter in the middle of a Swedish summer.
I do like these.

ReplyDeleteAll sorts of boats and sails in the river!
ReplyDeleteThe weather must have been hot that everyone is revealing a bit of skin
