Wow, I didn't know you had venomous snakes there. How does it spend the winter?? Cuddled next to something warm? The wiki page I found didn't have much to say.
It is a handsome lad. I know that many snakes are not harmful to humans, and that they do an important job in eating insects, but I still keep a distance from them.
Thank you Steffe. The rattlesnakes here do the same in the winter. Just that it's so much warmer here....but I knew your vipers had to make it some way!! Glad they do. Leery of them as I am. I've killed a few in my day, but they kept coming onto the porch, etc. Hated to do it.
