Förtöjning

Förtöjning Karhu M/S Silverpilen
Swedish word of the day. Förtöjning. Mooring. The bollard used for the Silverpilen ferry at Årsta brygga. And a bonus. Finnish word of the day. Karhu means bear in Finnish. That's all I have. The motor boat was moored at Årsta brygga yesterday. Photos taken witn my newest lens the Sigma 50mm 1.4 DG HSM.

  1. Nice watercraft. Bollards are pretty similar around the world.

  3. I liked these. But where in the hell did karhu come from. I confess, I looked on the boats for names, but didn't see karhu anywhere. I hope you have not had a personal encounter with a karhu. Oh well, I'm old and could have missed something.

  4. You might need better glasses then Judith, or a bigger screen! Karhu is the name of the motorboat.

  5. OK. I looked at a larger version of the photo. And there it was. It is quite likely I need both better glasses and a bigger screen! Thanks...

  6. I bought new glasses and contact lenses a little over a year ago so I'm good, at least for the moment.
