The first visit to the old tree this year was a cold and foggy affair. I took the bike and I wore a balaclava against the cold, that combined with my eyeglasses made for very foggy glasses and I had to stop a couple of times as the visibility was minimal.
The fog makes for a impressive shot. I envy your dedication with the Old Tree.
