Munchin' away
Roe deer in a small forest in Tungelsta. We got some more snow yesterday but it melted away within a few hours. Still cold today, maybe 2C, but according to the weather people it will be 13C tomorrow.
Where I grew up Deer Season is a very big deal but I never heard the term "roe deer" so I had to research it. It is a beautiful animal; cannot fathom killing one. Hope this one stays safe!
We have roe deer around here but you usually only see them running away. This is an excellent photo.

ReplyDeleteLooks like this one got through winter fine.
ReplyDeleteEverything needs to eat. There is supposed to be heavy snow in much of the northeast US this weekend but not out here.
ReplyDeleteThanks William. Shot with my cheap Canon zoom lens. I call it the silent zoom lens btw.
ReplyDeletePeople do hunt roe deer in Sweden, but not this time of the year, August to October is the time for that, although I will only shoot with my cameras.
We had a snowed in train up North a few days ago Bob, I was sitting in the Spring sunshine as I read an article about that incident.
