The first thing I noticed at Slätmossen on my most recent visit was this photographer. And I even recognized the
lens she was shooting with. Because I am thinking about buying it myself. Would be a nice tool for bird photography. It's the Tamron AF SP 150-600/5,0-6,3 Di VC USD. Didnt get her name, but I found her via Facebook as she showed me some of her photos, so hello Annika!
A lens like that is the only way to go for nature photography.
ReplyDeleteI definitely think you need to make her acquaintance, talk about her lens, and, well, get to know her better. The only Annika I know is Anika Sorenstam. Oh, go buy the lens, but it probably won't make a lot of difference. You do an excellent job with what you have!
ReplyDeleteI saw several lenses like this one at the Desert Botanical Garden on Sunday morning. There were a lot of birdographers out and about.
ReplyDeleteThat is a serious camera!
ReplyDeleteA very serious birdographer indeed!
ReplyDeleteWow! She's holding it without a tripod. Not easy.
ReplyDeleteThat is a mammoth lens Steffe! 600 zoom, fantastic. I wonder if it's as heavy as it looks, would be difficult to control without a tripod? Super shot of photographer in action :)
ReplyDeleteWhoa! That is a massive lens!
