It snowed again yesterday. Tricky to use the camera in that sort of weather. Especially since I forgot to pack the umbrella that I often use when it's snowing. But as the snowing came to an end I found these red berries and knew that I would be able to get a nice Winter photo.
This is a really great winter image. Love the red fruit peaking out from the snow.

Lovely!
ReplyDeleteLingonberries? Frozen? I wonder if the birds can get them from under all that snow?
ReplyDeleteHa ha, you need to get back to chool Lowell.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. The red with the fluffy white snow is the perfect combination just as those red houses in the snow that you have been showing us.
ReplyDeleteElenka has the back deck decorated with these berries. Picturesque for January.
ReplyDeleteRött och vitt. Denna gång nyponrött istället för falurött men minst lika effektfullt. Snyggt!
ReplyDeleteJag kommer inom någon minut att lägga upp en nyponbild på min blogg men den är inte i närheten lika fin som din bild. I söndags hade inte tillräckligt med snö fastnat på "mina" nypon...
Almost looks photoshopped
ReplyDeleteYou got me there Bill, I did add some more red in PS.
ReplyDeleteThe reds are like drops of blood in the snowy world. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had a really pretty snow yet - quite a strange year!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you didn't add more red than the original... you just put back what the camera didn't capture. At least that's what I always tell myself.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly is pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt's got Edelweis from The Sound Of Music playing in my head.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLiterally a touch for a little masterpiece! Bravo!
ReplyDeleteJ'adore this image Steffe.. So pretty and with out a doubt Christmassy :)
ReplyDeleteSteffe, this photo is wonderful. By now the birds have probably eaten all of the berries.
ReplyDeleteWhat an enchanting wintertime photo, perfectly focused, white with accents of red.
ReplyDeleteLove this one.
