It's an
election year in Sweden. Both for the national parliament (in September), and for the EU parliament (in May). And as you can guess it's all you ever see in the newspapers, on the radio, TV, on the web, and even on the streets, like this. This is a feminist initiative from the feminist party,
F!,
taplats.nu is a web site and it also means take a seat now.
More women need to become involved in politics, economics, business, etc. Wonder why they choose a PINK chair?!
ReplyDeleteThe political party F! or FI have pink as their color.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. In French, "ta plat nu" would mean "her naked braid". Anyway, I'm guessing that "take a seat now" means in the parliament.
ReplyDeleteShame about the broken strut, beware sitting down.
ReplyDeleteI noticed the state of the chair too, Peter...
ReplyDeleteI mentioned that it was broken at flickr but knew that someone here would see it. There was another chair at a commuter station closer to me, noticed it last evening heading home from the bonfire.
