Back in August at the big Greaser meet there were a few cars that I couldn't shoot the way I wanted as they were crammed in everywhere so I was quite happy when I spotted one of them a few weeks later. This is a 1960 Ford Thunderbird. This was one of the first Brenizer method photos I shot with the 85mm lens. Mid-shoot the owner and daughter walked into the frame, so I had to explain that I needed to take a few more photos before they could drive off. Came out kinda cool me thinks.
elle est magnifique cette voiture
ReplyDeleteA beautiful car indeed, Steffe! Somehow your effect and lens on this car makes it appear much smaller than it is.....I think! Cool!
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right. People in the US would go crazy over this.
ReplyDeleteGreat car, love the shape, the grill and the soft-top - but it should have chrome wheels, not black. Ah well, nice one.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend with a retro T-Bird. This original T-Bird is a gem.
ReplyDeleteMore than 'kinda' Steffe.. Icy cool :)
ReplyDeleteYour country is full of reasonable people. Here if they they see me taking pictures of a car they will probably call the police...
ReplyDeleteDetta blev ett mycket lyckat exempel på Brenizer-metoden. Riktigt bra!
ReplyDeleteI always liked that car. You did a nice job.
ReplyDeleteThe car is super cool, but I love the effect. Looks like a toy.
