The sky was getting very dark as I made my way to the old tree yesterday. As I took a few photos of the Swedish Whitebeam it started raining, so I put the camera back in the bag, put on my raincoat, jumped on the bike and started pedalling for home. As I reached the road I looked to the right and spotted a double rainbow. Or at least half of it so I continued maybe 30 meters, stopped and reached for the Canon. As I started shooting the horse ran into the frame.
Skywatch Friday.
Perfect timing Steffe .... a moment in time captured forever. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA great slice of life photo...and a great rainbow too!
ReplyDeleteYou have to love it when things come together to make a scene like this and you were ready to capture it.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding! I had never seen a double rainbow before this year, but now I have seen several. Odd.
ReplyDeleteWhat a day! You were there at the right time:) Happy Weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I'm glad that you stopped and turned around. The horse showing up adds some dynamism to the shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible shot! Love the horse and buggy added to that beautiful double rainbow!
ReplyDeleteAn excellent capture!
ReplyDeleteOMG, this is the picture of the day. The rainbows are a fabulous catch, and the horse and driver create a perfect sense of scale. Very, very well done.
ReplyDeleteA triple bonus! Absolutely amazing!
ReplyDeletePure magic
ReplyDeleteSuch superb light and a double rainbow as well as the horse , more like a Hollywood movie set than real life. I've had one of our horses stick her head in front of my lens as I shot a sunset and she certainly made the shot.
ReplyDeleteVackert! Tycker imsy från Tyresö.
ReplyDeleteYours is a much nicer photo of a rainbow than the one I took and you got the second.
ReplyDeleteWow. This is a spectacular image.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous double rainbow and the horse adds that extra interest to the scene!
ReplyDeletean amazing story behind a very fine capture.
ReplyDeleteDamn you and your incredible shots! This is so good, a double rainbow and a horse and sulky. Shot of the year.
