King's Pawn

The Chess Board
If you know how to, you can play a game of chess at Poseidon's Square in Handen. You will find the chessmen in two locked wooden boxes next to the benches. To play a game you will have to get the key to the boxes from the cultural centre.

  4. No I didn't. I don't play chess and I was the only there. I have been waiting with this photo for a week or so, hoping to see someone use the chessboard. But as I took the photo one of my strangers came by. That's what I call the people I stop on the street and ask for a photo.

  5. That's interesting. Where would you sit to ponder your next move?

  6. I like the black and white on this shot. We saw one of these big chess boards in Galveston Texas.
