King's Pawn
If you know how to, you can play a game of chess at Poseidon's Square in Handen. You will find the chessmen in two locked wooden boxes next to the benches. To play a game you will have to get the key to the boxes from the cultural centre.
No I didn't. I don't play chess and I was the only there. I have been waiting with this photo for a week or so, hoping to see someone use the chessboard. But as I took the photo one of my strangers came by. That's what I call the people I stop on the street and ask for a photo.
Love the shot, Steffe!
ReplyDeleteThis looks good. The black and white works.

ReplyDeleteThat's interesting. Where would you sit to ponder your next move?
ReplyDeleteI like the black and white on this shot. We saw one of these big chess boards in Galveston Texas.
ReplyDeleteI hope they are not heavy...
ReplyDeleteCool idea. Never saw one of those before. I would like to see someone playing.
ReplyDeletePowerful image, beautifully composed. Black and white was a good choice.
