The horsemeat scandal continues. Here is my take on it. A tasty burger. Hopefully without horsemeat, but you newer know...

  5. One reason is that the horses are given high dozes of the painkiller phenylbutazone. Also known as bute. And that can cause life-threatening conditions in humans, such as blood dyscrasia.

  9. French people eat horsemeat. They sell it in the supermarkets there.
    I guess the newspeople have to find something to rant on about.

  10. A lot of people used to eat horse meat here. Not so much now but there are still some horse butchers around, though much rarer...
