Get A Grip
Road sand at Mulstavägen at the Välsta horse farm. The road climbs here. A few winters ago I came down the road on my bicycle, and it was ice everywhere. Managed to just avoid a head-on collision with a truck. Today the road looked a bit safer.
To someone who knows nothing, it looks as though there's ice everywhere still! We were going to pay a visit to the north this winter..... it looks as cold as I imagine! ;-)
Not cold at all. It was a nice day. One reason I visited the area was to see if a friend could go skiing here. He bought the skis just two weeks ago and have used them only twice. Normally there's a couple of ski tracks here but not this winter.
With beautiful scenery like that, I can imagine that negotiating the roads, thinking of that next shot, etc becomes a real challenge. Take care!
ReplyDeleteDangerous sounding route, great photo though!

ReplyDeleteCold but the snow is not as deep as previous years
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look so cold though :)
ReplyDeleteIt has got to be difficult getting around in the winter on a bicycle!
ReplyDeleteI like this because it has a universal appeal. It could be rural Missouri or the outskirts of Seattle.
ReplyDeleteA bicycle on icy roads? I'm glad you are still here to show us your photos.

ReplyDeleteThat was lucky for all of us Steffe!
