G'Day. I'm no banana bender. But I do like me a barbie every now and then and I will never say no to a coldie, or a visit to the boozer, if I have any moolah that is. I might even drink with the flies if I have to. As I was having my brekkie I spilled some coffee on my daks and that's when I realised that it is Australia day today. So good onya and no worries mate!
Lol, excellent!
ReplyDeleteFab mate!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHeehee, just perfect!
ReplyDeleteWell done Steffe!

ReplyDeleteYou may not have visited Oz but by gosh you got the lingo perfect (as are your photos)!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Love it.
ReplyDeleteYou gave me a good chuckle with this post!
ReplyDeleteI read this last night, Steffe, but was too weary to comment. It did give me a laugh out loud guffaw!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get your spot-on knowledge of our local expressions (Strine)? And I am figuring that your photos were taken in Sweden somewheres ...
Thank you for participating in the first National Day for the CDP portal. I appreciate your contribution very much.
Perfect dialect. We visited Australia once, 20 years ago, so no digital pix. Our son did get a didgeridoo, though.
ReplyDeleteHey you've got the lingo down pat. Congratulations, what a great contribution to the theme.
