The Monk, the smoking girl and the tattoed man
The annual Haninge Day took place at Lake Rudan in Handen on Saturday. My Canon is visiting Iceland over the weekend so I had to dig out the old Rebel to use while people watching. More snaps from this event in the coming days.
Terrific shot! The monk is checking his phone andthe girl's t-shirt is giving the angry finger. People are very interesting - love to know their stories.

ReplyDeleteA whole lot of contradictions here! Isn't contemporary society wonderful...so uplifting!
ReplyDeleteLove this capture Steffe.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the title of a good book! Maybe you should write one? :)
ReplyDeleteGreat juxtaposition
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard to picture two more diverse sentiments than what is communicated by the clothing of the monk and the woman.
ReplyDeleteTheres a nice contrast between the monk and the girl. Like they were from different times and worlds.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this photo. I liked the view of the three left arms as they all faced you. Fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting contrast, Stefan.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful parade. The monk looks like he's checking a text message on his phone. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen that.
ReplyDeletePeople sure are interesting, I couldn't agree more Cathy.
ReplyDeleteWriting a book is on my list of things to do.
Both have the same step...
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've got them all mid step Steffe, really like this image.
ReplyDeleteWhat a contrast, great!
