Rock Festival
The annual rock festival in the park took place in Tungelsta yesterday. Around 700 people gathered on the green lawns. Ten bands took to the stage during the seven hour music festival. The sun shone from a more or less blue sky all day. People were pick nicking everywhere, and one police officer was a bit impressed with how calm everything was, despite the high alcohol intake. I took a few hundred photos and I'm going to show you a few of them in the coming week. The guitarist here plays in a punk trio called The Tlark. During their half hour they managed to play quite a few songs as they were a bit on the short side, none longer than two minutes. Rock on!
Great shots Steffe!
ReplyDeleteNice rock photos. Were you in the front row?
ReplyDeleteI was everywhere. You could hear the music from anywhere in the park. I walked around. met a lot of people. Had some wine. Talked to the security people. Had a beer. Took some more photos of bands and spectators. Had a whisky. Took some more photos.
ReplyDeleteI am paying attention and I am sure I will learn a thing or two. Super photograph.
ReplyDeleteThis is another of your photos that show the universal appeal of a person's appearance with their job or hobby. Even without their instruments, they wold never be mistaken for classical musicians.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an 1980s hair-band rocker! Not my favourite music, but he has a style. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen he goes to work Monday morning as a tax accountant, he must wear long-sleeved shirts.
ReplyDeleteDave is right, these aren't classical musicians! I really like this kind of pictures...
