Peacock Shooter
Visited Karl Gunnar Lord yesterday. He was a good friend to my father. They grew up together, and KG has lived in Tungelsta all his life, just like my dad did. We had coffee and cake at his place and talked about this and that. Karl Gunnar has a peacock called Cookie, and we spent a few minutes feeding the bird cake, while taking photos of it. The third photo here is a school photo from 1936. KG is the fourth kid from the left on the first row. My dad is the second kid in the third row, sitting on the ground. I scanned it a few years ago and decided to see if I could colourize it.
You look very much like your dad, Steffe. How lovely to have a photo like that. You did a good job.
ReplyDeleteThe colorized photo is quite good!
ReplyDelete...and unique. This one with no head. hahaha
ReplyDeleteWonderful to have the school photo of your dad.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the peacock is hiding his head because he is not blond like all the kids in that photo.
You did a great job colorizing that photo! It looks wonderful. That must have been a fun visit.
Well done, Steffe!!
You did a wonderful job Steffe, I can't even begin to imagine how you went about that! Love the headless peacock haha!
ReplyDeleteThat photo of your father is such a special thing to have - how amazing you were able to colorize it. Stunning headless peacock too!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember the name of the software that I used bit it was a good one. KG has printed all three class photos that I colourized.
ReplyDeleteDuktig är ordet vi använder Gunn.
