That Old Tree
It's been a few weeks since I last showed you the old tree. If you compare the two latest color photos there is quite a difference. The grass is now green, but it will still be a while before you can see the Swedish Whitebeam in full bloom.
I agree with Jack Steffe, I'm getting rather attached to this old tree, if anyone makes any moves to cut it down, let us know and we'll all come out there and chain ourselves to it to save it!!
It is a beautiful day and a beautiful sky. The old tree looks like it is getting ready to leaf out. This is like seeing an old friend.
ReplyDeletePeaceful scene... waiting to see further views...
ReplyDeleteThe tree is something, but why am I always pulled to THAT winding dirt road?
ReplyDeleteIt still has that broken arm too.
ReplyDeleteI can see why you return to this scene during the seasons. The path of the road is as elegant as the shape of the tree.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Swedish old tree. Will it survive? Our trees are in rather poor conditions after winter.
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased that the broken branch is still there..it adds a certain charm to 'our' tree.
