The Lotus Position
This is the new version of the classical Lotus position. It is a bit different from the old one as you need a sportscar to get away with it. And not just any sportscar, but an actual Lotus. The man posing here is Aki Vaattovaara. I met him in Handen on Saturday. He was parking his Lotus Elise at the mall so I decided to take a few photos of the car. Aki is the guy you should talk to if you are in the market for a Lotus, as he imports them to Sweden from England. More fact in Swedish at his website. This Elise will set you back around 150 000 SEK. Not a bad price at all.
I love this 'portrait' and clever title Steffe. By the way, I'll have two of those cars please...!
ReplyDeleteExcellent portraits. Aki should make you the official Lotus photographer for Sweden.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a good portrait. He seems so confident. Does driving a Lotus do that to a person? I also like the reflection in his sunglasses? Also a good portrait.
ReplyDeleteWonderful casual portrait! Sorry I been so quiet these last couple weeks, I’ve been really ill (now finally diagnosed with Whooping Cough even though I was immunized) and have had another very rough week.
ReplyDeleteCool guy with his cool car! I love how you did a self portrait in his sunglasses, Steffe!
ReplyDeleteGreat portraits and self portrait.
ReplyDeleteBut you can't drive very fast in Sweden, can you? It seems like living in an American suburb and owing a Corvette. Now the Autobahn is a different story.
ReplyDeleteYou can drive as fast as you like, but if you do. chances are that you will loose your license!
ReplyDeleteGret image !
